10 000 Feet Dance
Bolivia is the Latin American country with the highest percentage of Indigenous people - Aymara and Quechua speakers. This makes for a fascinating cultural clash between them and the descendants of the Spanish. A cultural clash that happens at over 10 000 feet (3 000 meters) in most of the country.
10 000 feet dance shows the life in 4 Bolivian cities around the festival where each year thousands of people get dressed up and go dancing on the street while sprayed with water and foam.
The project was created as a part of a project partially financed by the Bulgarian National Culture Fund.
